Term 1 - Feb 4, 2009
 The first thing I did was have lunch and tea at my house for Christmas. I got a massive book of stickers from Luke and Carly. The next day we went to our Nanna’s house to leave our car there. We had to catch a cab, so it could take us to the airport. When we got to the airport we had to wait for an hour. Then it was time to get on the plane. When we got onto the plane we watched a movie. Then we got off the plane. My aunty picked us up. It took a long time to get to their house. They live in Queensland! We stayed there for ten days, then we went back home to Kinglake. We played with all the toys we got for Christmas.
Term 3 - July 14, 2009
 When I was going to Queensland I had to get up very early in the morning to catch the plane. When we got to the airport we had to wait an hour. It was so exciting!!!! Then we got on the plane. I don't like going on planes. Then we got off the plane and we drove to the hotel where we were staying. It had a heated pool! So we unpacked and got straight in. The next day our cousins came over and stayed the night. The next day we went to movie world the first thing I went on was the dodgem cars they were fun!! Then I watched my mum go on the Wild, Wild West. The next day we had a rest. The day after that we went to Sea World. I went to Sesame Street. I went on this thing. I don’t know what it was called but you pulled yourself up by a rope. When you got to the top you let go and fall down very fast. Then my mum went on this very fast ride. I can’t remember what it was called. Then I went to see the sharks. I went under a tunnel. It was very dark. Then I went and fed the stingrays. I fed them little fish. Then I saw a polar bear who was trying to get the ball out of the box. It took forever! Two days after that we went back to Kinglake on the plane.
